Acryseal WS Floor Sealer - Water based

A heavy duty Acrylic copolymer sealer / basecoat. Repellant properties prevents contamination by oil and water. Satin finish.

APPLICATIONS

Acryseal WS can be applied to all the following hard surfaces: Vinyl, Cement, Rubber, Slasto, Linoleum, Ceramic tiles, in fact to any hard type tile.Adhesion to properly prepared cementitious surfaces is excellent and the material is completely non-yellowing.

PRODUCT FEATURES

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

PREPARATORY CLEANING PROCEDURE: Acrylseal WS is applied using a lambs wool applicator, brush or roller. Each coat should be thinly, but evenly applied at approximately ± 30 minute intervals. Two coats are generally adequate; depending on the surface porosity - further coats may be necessary.

Prior to applying product to the surface:

Cement Screeded Floors (Spread rate – approx. 8 – 15 sq. m per Liter per coat)

1. New Surfaces :

Apply Columbus Mortar Kleen to ensure porous surface for proper adhesion of Acrylic Sealer. Scrub & wash floor area thoroughly with clean water and allow to dry properly.

2. Old Surfaces :

Apply Columbus Cold Stripper HX, THX or 246 to all painted areas. Scrub and wash floor area thoroughly with clean water.

a) If floor is soiled with oil, grease or fatty stains, apply Columbus Konkleen as per manufacturer’s instruction to remove soiling.

b) Thereafter, apply Columbus Concrete Etchant to ensure proper adhesion. Wash floor area thoroughly and allow drying properly.

Slasto or Ceramic Tiles (Spread rate – approx. 8 – 15 sq. m per Liter per coat)

1. New Surfaces: Scrub & Wash thoroughly with Columbus Genkleen to remove all oil, grease or fatty stains. Allow to dry properly.

2. Old Surfaces: Apply Columbus Cold stripper HX, THX or 246 to all painted areas. Scrub & wash floor area thoroughly with clean water.

a) If floor is soiled with oil, grease or fatty stains, apply Columbus Konkleen as per manufacturer’s instruction to remove soiling.

b) Thereafter, apply Columbus Concrete Etchant to ensure proper adhesion. Wash floor area thoroughly and allow to dry properly.

Vinyl, Linoleum & Rubber Tiles (Spread rate – approximately 12 sq. m per Liter per coat)

1. New & Old Surfaces: Wash thoroughly with Columbus Genkleen to remove all oil, grease or fatty stains. Scrub & wash floor area thoroughly and allow to dry properly.

FIRST AID

Swallowing :- Give plenty of water or milk to drink and seek immediate medical attention. Do not induce vomiting.

Inhalation:- Move to fresh air and seek medical assistance if necessary.

Skin contact:- Wash with soap and water and apply skin cream. Eye contact:- Wash thoroughly with water for 10 minutes and seek medical attention.

STORAGE

Store tightly sealed containers in cool, dry area away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Shelf life of properly stored material is at least one year from date of manufacture.

Available pack sizes are fluorinated 5 L and 25 L containers
